Professor Du Peng from Northeast Agricultural University Visited Our College to Share Experiences in Dairy Engineering Program Development

On November 28, 2024, Professor Du Peng, Director of the Dairy Engineering Department at the College of Food Science, Northeast Agricultural University, was invited to the College of Food Engineering at East University of Heilongjiang to provide an in-depth experience sharing in the development of the Dairy Engineering program at Northeast Agricultural University. This exchange activity not only offered valuable learning opportunities for our college and students but also provided important guidance for the program development of Food Science and Engineering.

Professor Du Peng began with a detailed introduction to the program development of the Dairy Engineering major at Northeast Agricultural University. He emphasized that program development not only enhances teaching quality but also leads to a comprehensive improvement in the overall academic standards of the college. Professor Du Peng systematically explained many aspects, such as discipline construction and research development, sharing successful experiences through practical case studies.

After the sharing session, Professor Du Peng held a discussion with the teaching team of the Food Science and Engineering major. During the discussion, Professor Du Peng provided meticulous guidance on the specific aspects of the ongoing program development in Food Science and Engineering major. Professor Du Peng pointed out that program development should comprehensively reflect all facets, including curriculum design, faculty strength, laboratory conditions, and student training.

The experience sharing of Professor Du Peng not only brought the successful practices of Dairy Engineering program development from Northeast Agricultural University to the College of Food Engineering at East University of Heilongjiang, but also offered new ideas and directions for the college’s future development. We look forward to further collaboration and exchanges between the two institutions in the future, working together to advance the progress of Food Science and Engineering education.
