College of Food Engineering Held Work Promotion Meeting for Education and Teaching Evaluation

On May 7, College of Food Engineering held a work promotion meeting for education and teaching evaluation in Room 382 of the First Teaching Building. Vice President Xu Jiancheng attended the meeting and delivered a speech, with all faculty members of the college present.


Vice President Xu Jiancheng’s speech consisted of two parts. First, he conducted further mobilization and deployment based on the issues identified in the undergraduate teaching evaluation work. He emphasized that all faculty members should adopt a problem-oriented approach, analyze the root causes of the identified issues, and seek solutions to continuously enhance their sense of responsibility, quality awareness, and standardization. Second, he reiterated the importance of a collective effort to promote employment. Using the example of Muyuan Group’s employee recruitment as a case study, Xu  Jiancheng stressed that teachers should be passionate about their work and field of study, acting as self-driven engines in their eduvcational endeavors. Given the current severe employment situation, teachers, as the leading figures in education, must not only be self-motivated but also adept at instilling motivation in students’ hearts, fostering their self-driven capabilities. This approach is essential to fundamentally improving the quality of talent cultivation and addressing the challenges of employment difficulties.
